family ministries \ students
We serve students, grades 5th - 12th, as we share God’s love and help them to live out their faith in the Lord. Encouraging pre-teens and teens to boldly take what they have learned and love about Jesus home, in their communities and the watching world. The family is so important in the spiritual, mental, physical and social development of these students; it is very important that their light not dim because of their age (I Timothy 4:12) or due to change of environment or circumstance (Revelations 3:8). These students, in particular will be encouraged to trust in Jesus, be discipled and to become disciple makers (Romans 1:12).
StreetCred is a partnering ministry that comes alongside the family to help nurture and encourage faith and growth in Christ Jesus. This ministry of MSC serves grades
StreetCred | 5th - 8th Grade
We desire to reach theses students with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and help them connect to the larger church and their communities through experiences and teachings that are Christ centered and culturally relevant. As with our our younger kids, we come alongside the family because we believe that God has positioned the nuclear family as the primary people to cultivate the heart of the pre-teen(s) and teenager(s) to love Jesus, themselves and others (Proverbs 22:6). The community of God (us) is called to reinforce and assist the family in biblical teachings (I Thessalonians 5: 9-15). Because this ministry is a part of the larger body of MSC, every member of the students family is discipled to become disciple makers especially in their homes (Deuteronomy 6:1-9).
